Abbr. Equines is affiliated with the WCMHR. We are currently accepting new members. Adults
are $20, Youth are $5, and families of three or more are $30. Any members of the Adirondack

2007 Season
This year looks to be a busy one. We are holding two clinics and two shows. We hope to see you there. All
exhibitors and their horses are welcome to our events regardless of registry or the lack there of. All horses must
have a current negative Coggins and Rabies certificate. Please refer to the Rules page (coming soon).
Our first clinic will be a Beginner's Guide to training and preparing your mini for the show ring. Whether you're
brand new to the show circuit or have been around for a while you're bound to learn a few tricks and techniques.
Not to mention money saving ideas to old styles! We will also have a guest speaker on T Touch.
Our first show will be an Open show featuring numerous classes as well as several Grand Champion classes.
All Grand Champions and the Supreme Halter Horse will receive a new show halter courtesy of Quick Silver
Designs.
Our second clinic will be an Advanced Clinic. This does not mean that you can not attend if you have not been
showing for a while. This is a clinic designed to help you (the handler) better train your horse for specific types of
classes. We will have another guest speaker/ This time it will be on training to drive your horse. This is sure to
be a great clinic providing insight on just what the judge is looking for in each category.
We will also be attending the Fourth Annual Little Brook Farm Benefit Show. This event is held each year to aid
the efforts of a local horse rescue. Little Brook Farm is also home to B.I.T.S. (Balanced Innovative Teaching
Strategies) which caters to the needs of: inner city kids, mentally and physically handicapped as well as many
area schools. Please see the links page for more info on this farm. The show will have 65+ classes ranging from
halter to games. The show will be judged by a certified mini judge This is sure to be an event not to be missed.
All entrants in this show and the first show will be eligible for points toward WCMHR high point year end awards.
However, this show will be worth double points for our members, so be sure to join today!
Our last event of the year will be our Second Annual Fun Fall Festival. This is a day of games and challenges
for both horse and handler. The day will include obstacle, liberty and halter classes, but will also feature many
games. There will also be a trivia challenge for those of you who think you're horse buffs!
